Four years ago, I picked out this dress in Truffle for my bridesmaid dresses. At the time I was tempted to buy it in black for myself to wear out. It worked for both my smaller breasted and bustier bridesmaids. The only alterations that any of them needed made was the length, which is understandable since some wore heals and some didn't. The bridesmaids also varied in sizes from 2-12 and it looked good on all of them. This waist line does compliment anyone.Yesterday I went with a friend to find a dress for her wedding. We went in DB and they couldn't get ANY dresses by April in the color she wanted (silver, pewter, or mercury). We went to other stores, and couldn't find anything we liked. Got online and found several DB dresses at $50 or more cheaper (including shipping) than they were priced in the store and they will get here in TWO weeks!As another reviewer posted, DB dresses run one size too small, go to the store and try them on, then order them online. Save the money. Another tip, you can often find places that do alterations cheaper than DB does it in house.

Waited till almost the last minute to get a dress for my son's wedding. Reluctantly went to David's and found a dress that I loved, only it was not the right color. I needed it in silver. As it was marked down in price, they could not order it in the color I needed. So, back to the drawing board. But wait..... there it is on line and in the color I need. I ordered the same dress from Amazon.com in the color I needed for half the price and it actually shipped from David's. Received it yesterday and it is BEAUTIFUL. Hmmm....go figure.

Nabbed this one for a hastily-scheduled wedding; tried it on in a local David's Bridal store front before purchasing it via Amazon. The online price with shipping is about half what it's costs when you buy it in the store (at the time of this review), so I have warm fuzzy feelings about that point.David's sizes run one too small, so I bought a 22, and it fits almost just right (a little alteration to the straps will be necessary). I'm a chesty gal with an hourglass figure, so this worked great on me - but that being said, the empire waist has endured for so many generations because it looks good on almost everyone.The beaded waist trim detail is pretty understated in the product images. It's actually a smidgeon more sparkly, but still understated and lovely. Normally, I resell my bridesmaid dresses, but I believe I may get some re-wear out of this one.
